Foundry Operative

Hays Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Fettling Operative for our client based in the Medway Towns area. This is a full-time position for the successful candidate.

Monday to Thursday
6am – 4:30pm
(40hours per week)

Salary

• £23,73.12 per year

Job Duties Include:

- Melt preparation prior to casting
- Washout – cleaning of moulds prior to casting
- Presenting moulds for casting
- Casting - pouring of molten metal into ceramic moulds
- Takeaway – moving of moulds following casting
- Performing of knock out – removing ceramic shell from castings via manual means
- Manual Handling
- Keeping the work space clean and tidy
