Your new role:
As a Formulations Scientist, you’ll be involved in the design, development, and optimisation of complex formulations to support therapeutic innovation. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality research and contribute to the development of scalable processes for future manufacturing. This is a hands-on role with a strong emphasis on collaboration, problem-solving, and scientific rigour.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Designing and developing new formulation strategies.
  • Supporting process development and scale-up activities.
  • Preparing technical documentation and reports.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to meet project goals.
  • Maintaining high standards in laboratory research.

What you’ll need to succeed:
  • A Ph.D. in a relevant scientific discipline (e.g. Chemistry, Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Physics).
  • Experience working in a laboratory setting with formulation development.
  • Familiarity with analytical and characterisation techniques.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency in techniques such as SAXS, DSC, NMR, LC-MS, HPLC, DLS, and TEM.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach.
  • Industry experience (1–2 years) is advantageous but not essential.
