Foreman - Contract - Highways - Cambridge - £375 Per shift !

Your new company

One of the UK’s leading infrastructure contractors, working across a number of sectors including: transport, highways, water, energy and telecommunications.

Your new role

You will join a leading highway contractor working on a number of cycleway/footpath enhancement schemes across Cambridge.

This project focusses on the development of dedicated cycleways integrated into existing highway infrastructure. Key activities include the widening of current footpaths—either toward adjacent land or into the carriageway—and resurfacing of the surrounding area to improve accessibility and safety.

Additional scope of work includes the installation of traffic-calming measures such as speed bumps, updated signage, road markings, and selective junction reconfiguration to enhance flow and safety.

Delivery is managed through an established supply chain, which we oversee to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards. While direct site involvement is minimal, occasional visits are conducted to support specific tasks such as temporary drainage installations and fencing setup.
