You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide range of refrigeration equipment and building services across multiple client sites throughout Northern Ireland.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and complete reactive tasks and minor repairs
- Execute refrigeration/HVAC PPM tasks in line with contract scope and specifications
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of commercial refrigeration systems, including pack systems and controls
- Respond promptly and professionally to Helpdesk service requests.
- Prioritise maintenance and repair work to meet agreed response times
- Order and maintain tools, materials, and equipment in line with company procedures.
- Identify when specialist subcontractors are required and provide clear job specifications
- Manage subcontractor attendance and ensure work meets required standards and budgets
- Complete remedial works, minor alterations, and installations
- Advise on capital purchases and support surveys and reporting
- Maintain accurate asset registers and ensure all equipment is tagged
- Represent our client professionally, building strong relationships with clients and internal teams
- Complete all paperwork accurately and on time
Essential Qualifications
- NVQ Level 2 & 3 Refrigeration / Air Conditioning
- C&G 2079 F Gas Category 1 Certificate
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Ability to use Microsoft Office and Computer‑Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) systems
- IPAF Training
- Previous experience in a similar FM refrigeration role
- Strong problem‑solving skills and a proactive approach
- Excellent communication and customer‑service mindset
