Part-Time Fleet Administrator | Accrington

Location: Accrington
Office Hours: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM, Monday to Friday (27.5 hours per week)
Salary: £18,175 – £19,500 per annum (pro rata)
Contract: Permanent Start Date: 05/01/2026

About the Role
We are looking for an organised and proactive Fleet & Logistics Administrator in Accrington. This is a varied role supporting multiple areas of the business, including fleet management, plant administration, logistics, purchasing, and general office administration. Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update vehicle records and fleet tracking systems
  • Manage fuel card administration
  • Oversee MOT and service records
  • Liaise with garages for bookings and repairs
  • Process vehicle check returns
Mill/Plant Administration
  • Schedule services, appointments, and breakdowns
  • Update systems including Trackunit and Asset Panda
  • Maintain stock records
Logistics Support
  • Manage calendars and job sheets
Purchasing Administration
  • Raise purchase orders on Eque
  • Handle petty cash
  • Procure and distribute PPE, workwear, first aid, welfare, and stationery
  • Maintain external hire records and cross-check with sites
Supply Chain Administration
  • Assess and file PQQs
  • Chase insurances and compliance documents
  • Liaise with internal teams to complete forms and update systems
  • Link spreadsheets with Eque and Evaluate
Aftersales Support
  • Log defects and manage email administration
  • Arrange site visits
General Office Support
  • Timesheet checking and travel time administration
  • Provide accounts and admin support during peak periods and holiday cover

Ideal Candidate
  • Strong administrative skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks
  • Good communication skills and a proactive approach
  • Experience with fleet or logistics administration is desirable but not essential
  • Familiarity with systems such as Eque, Trackunit, Asset Panda, and Evaluate would be an advantage
