Your new role

As a Fit Out Supervisor, you will oversee the finishing works on a variety of interior projects, ensuring seamless execution from planning to completion. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing on-site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to deliver finishing elements such as painting, flooring, joinery, and installations on time and within budget.
  • Conducting regular site inspections to maintain quality standards, health and safety compliance, and adherence to project specifications.
  • Coordinating with project managers, architects, and clients to resolve issues, track progress, and implement any necessary adjustments.
  • Preparing reports on project status, material usage, and resource allocation to support efficient workflow. This hands-on role demands strong leadership and problem-solving skills, with opportunities to contribute to exciting, high-profile developments.

What you'll need to succeed

To excel in this position, you should bring:

  • Proven experience as a supervisor or similar role in interior fit-outs, with a focus on finishing works in the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of finishing techniques, materials, and best practices, including relevant regulations and quality control processes.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to lead teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Relevant qualifications such as a degree in construction management or equivalent trade certifications (e.g., CSCS card, SMSTS, SSSTS)
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software, along with a commitment to health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • A proactive mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive under pressure will be key to your success.
