First line IT support Technician || Bristol || Hays contract
Join a leading independent technology and services provider as a first-line IT support Technician.
Job Overview:
Seeking an on-site IT support resource in Bristol to assist with laptop deployments. The role involves configuring devices, updating asset records, and supporting users during setup.
- Location: Bristol
- Contract: 13th July -31st Dec’26
- Mandatory check: SC Clearance
- Pay Rates:
- Umbrella Rate: £17.72/hour (via a Hays approved umbrella company).
- PAYE Basic Rate: £13.66/hour
- Hours: 37.5 hours a week. Monday – Friday.
- Time: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Queue ticket management of tickets assigned to their Hub (and surrounding spokes) ensures appropriate updates and call management to maintain service levels as per contract.
- Hub Stock management including asset management of kit in/out (Scan items in/out of locations) as per contract.
- Effective Management of disposals that go through their Hub as per contract.
- Highlight potential issues with service/potential service improvements to their Team Leader
- Follow any agreed processes and procedures either by the Authority (site regulations etc)
- The start date will not be before 10th July but SC clearance is required.
