Fire Door Inspector – Norfolk (3–6 Month Project, Potential Extension), Starting ASAP

Your new company

We’re supporting a respected organisation in Norfolk as they undertake their annual fire door inspection programme—and we’re looking for an experienced Fire Door Inspector to join the team. With approximately 18,000 fire doors across their estate, this is a significant project expected to run for 3–6 months, with the potential for extension.

Your new role

Working closely with the in house estates and maintenance team, you will:

* Carry out detailed inspections of fire doors across the estate
* Use a pre prepared inspection template to accurately document condition, defects, and any areas of non compliance
* Provide clear reports for the maintenance team, who will action repairs or replacements as required

This is a hands on, onsite role where attention to detail, consistency, and professional judgement are essential.

What you'll need to succeed

You’ll need:
* A recognised FDIS or BRE qualification
* Proven experience inspecting, assessing, and reporting on the condition and compliance of fire doors
* Strong communication and documentation skills
* The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the wider estates team

What you'll get in return

* Location: Norfolk
* Hours: 42.5 per week (including lunch)
* Typical working hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm
* Some flexibility may be considered
* Duration: 3–6 months (extension likely)
