Financial Controller - £up to 75000 per annum

Your new role
We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to lead the financial operations of the business. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will:
  • Deliver strategic financial guidance and robust board packs.
  • Manage forecasting, budgeting, and cashflow modelling.
  • Lead and develop the finance team.
  • Implement efficient systems and processes for accurate reporting.
  • This is a senior role requiring strong commercial acumen and the ability to operate at board level.

What you'll need to succeed
  • ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified (or qualified by experience with 10+ years relevant experience).
  • Minimum 5 years in a similar role, ideally within construction finance
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and financial management.
  • Proven ability to lead teams and improve processes.
  • Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with financial software and Microsoft Office.
