Temporary Finance Analyst – Excel Specialist Needed

Your new company
You’ll be joining a leading market‑research organisation based in Central London, working within a high‑performing finance team. The business is currently undergoing a systems migration from Salesforce to Microsoft Dynamics, creating additional project work and a short‑term need for strong analytical support. You’ll be part of an established, collaborative environment with a strong reputation for developing early‑career finance professionals.

Your new role
As a Finance Analyst, you will support the commissions and revenue team during a busy period of system change and backlog clearance.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Collecting, validating and analysing sales and commission data
  • Posting journals and ensuring accuracy across ERP systems
  • Using Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, linking spreadsheets, margin analysis)
  • Working with Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, and Excel to monitor sales activity
  • Supporting the wider finance team with revenue analysis and month‑end tasks
  • Working onsite 2 days per week (Wednesday & Thursday)

This is a 2‑month contract starting ASAP, with a strong chance of extension.

What you'll need to succeed
  • 1–2 years’ experience in a finance, data or analytical role (graduates considered)
  • Strong Excel skills — pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data linking, journal posting
  • Experience with commissions, revenue data or ERP systems (Dynamics/NetSuite ideal)
  • Excellent attention to detail and confidence handling large data sets
  • Background in legal, financial services, or similar analytical environments is beneficial
  • Ability to start immediately and commit for the full contract duration

What you'll get in return
  • Competitive rate
  • Hybrid working
  • Exposure to Microsoft Dynamics and a major CRM migration project
  • The opportunity to build experience in a reputable, globally recognised business
  • A role with likely extension beyond the initial 2‑month period
