Your new company

You will be working for a profitable, well-established FMCG business based in Spalding who supply household brand names, joining them as their new Financial Accountant. This job opportunity in the finance team is available on a full-time, permanent basis.

Your new role

Reporting to the Finance Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial accounting function of the business, which will include financial reporting, treasury management and being the key contact for the external audit. On top of this, there will be the opportunity to get involved with budgeting, forecasting and business reporting on KPIs. The business is passionate about improving processes and procedures too, so you will be given the platform to identify areas for improvement too. This position also has 3 direct reports to manage.

What you'll need to succeed

In order to be successful, you will need to be an experienced Accountant with sound technical accounting knowledge and the ability to work in a busy FMCG environment. The role would be ideal for someone with a well-rounded background in finance, with a full accounting qualification preferred but not essential.
