Finance Transformation Business Analyst Opportunity
We’re supporting a major securities business undergoing a large‑scale transformation and seeking an experienced Business Analyst with strong finance, accounting, and securities knowledge.
Hybrid: 3 days a week in office
Rate: £500pd inside ir35 via umbrella
Key Responsibilities
- Support a new General Ledger implementation
- Provide data model support, ensuring alignment between business needs, accounting rules, and downstream processes.
- Produce and review functional design documentation, ensuring high-quality testing and quality assurance standards.
- Work closely with business teams—this role is highly business-led, requiring strong understanding of accounting, controls, and operational processes.
- Contribute to wider transformation activities across finance and securities functions.
Experience Required
- Strong background in the securities business and financial services.
- Solid accounting knowledge; a professional qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) is highly desirable.
- Hands-on experience with GL implementations and head office reporting packages.
- Demonstrable experience creating or supporting functional design documentation within the last 5 years.
- Proven track record in delivering large transformation programmes within banks of any size.
- Strong understanding of testing, QA, and financial change principles.
