Drive strategic finance transformation in a fast-paced, international environment using MS Dynamics 365 BC

Your new company

A well-established, UK-based brand and licencing company is seeking a strategic and forward-thinking Finance Systems Analyst to join their expanding team. With over two decades of industry presence, this privately owned business operates across multiple European markets and maintains sourcing partnerships in Asia. Known for its creative culture and strong retail relationships, the company offers a full-service model covering design, sourcing, merchandising, logistics, and finance. It is financially secure and continues to grow its international footprint.

Your new role

This is a pivotal role that bridges Finance and IT, focused on optimising financial systems to support international operations and long-term growth. This role is centred on system enhancement and process efficiency, not transactional finance. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading finance system projects such as upgrades, integrations, and international localisations

  • Translating business requirements into technical solutions

  • Identifying and resolving inefficiencies in workflows and systems

  • Delivering training and support for finance users

  • Overseeing User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

  • Acting as the go-to expert for finance system queries

  • Maintaining process maps and configuration records

  • Ensuring system readiness for month-end and year-end close

    What you'll need to succeed

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC), along with a background in finance systems analysis or systems accounting. A formal accounting qualification or equivalent experience is essential, as is a proven ability to manage projects independently and communicate effectively across all levels of the organisation. Candidates should be confident in business analysis methodologies such as requirements gathering and process mapping. Desirable attributes include experience with ERP localisation (particularly tax and VAT configuration for international regions), familiarity with reporting tools like Power BI, and exposure to the retail or fashion sectors.

What you'll get in return

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a financially stable and growth-oriented business that values innovation, collaboration, and employee wellbeing. The company offers international exposure and the chance to work cross-functionally on impactful projects. Its culture is creative and inclusive, with a strong emphasis on professional development and long-term career progression. This role will be fully site-based.
