Finance Project Business Partner (ERP Implementation)
Location: Leeds (2–3 days on-site)
Contract: 10-month FTC

The Opportunity
We’re partnering with a large, complex organisation undergoing a significant ERP transformation, and we’re seeking an experienced Finance Project Business Partner to play a key role in supporting delivery.
This is a high-impact role where you’ll act as the bridge between Finance and Transformation — combining strong business partnering capability with solid financial accounting fundamentals and hands-on involvement in ERP/UAT activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with finance and non-finance stakeholders across the business to support ERP implementation
- Play an active role in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) – including test planning, execution, issue resolution and stakeholder coordination
- Ensure finance requirements are accurately captured and translated into system design
- Support the integrity of core financial processes throughout the implementation
- Work closely with transformation and IT teams to ensure successful delivery
- Provide insight and challenge to stakeholders, driving best practice across finance processes
What We’re Looking For
To be successful in this role, you’ll need to demonstrate a balanced skill set across technical finance and business partnering, gained within a large, complex environment.
Essential experience:
- Proven experience in a Finance Business Partner / Finance Transformation / Project Finance role
- Hands-on involvement in ERP implementations, with clear exposure to UAT cycles
- Strong understanding of core financial accounting, including:
- Ledger structures and controls
- Reconciliations
- Consolidations
- Fixed assets
- Awareness of tax and reporting requirements
- Experience operating in large, complex organisations
- Strong stakeholder management – able to influence, challenge and build relationships across all levels
Highly desirable:
- Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
- Experience bridging technical accounting and commercial finance teams
- Exposure to finance transformation or process improvement initiatives
