Finance Officer job based in Glasgow

Your new company

Based on the outskirts of Glasgow city centre, our client is recruiting for a Finance Officer to join their team on a permanent basis. The hours of work are Monday–Friday 9am -4pm. The role is office-based, and the organisation is easily accessible by public transport and there is also on-street parking.

Your new role

Reporting to the Senior Manager, you will operate as the sole finance function for the organisation. Your duties will include, but will not be limited to:

  • Maintaining accurate financial records
  • Preparing and submitting financial reports to funders and regulatory bodies.
  • Processing invoices
  • Petty Cash
  • Working with external accountant and the board
  • Month-end duties
  • Undertaking office managerial duties

What you'll need to succeed

You will have experience of a similarly varied accounts position. Ideally, but not essentially, you will have experience from the charity sector. You will be a team player with good communication skills as you will liaise with a range of stakeholders on a daily basis.
