Your new company
A well-respected and people-focused charitable service provider based in Northumberland

Your new role
You will be interacting with suppliers, customers and internal departments regarding financial matters, and your daily duties will involve processing supplier invoices, reconciling statements and responding to queries. As well as this, you will manage mailbox traffic – prioritising and organising the flow of emails, ensuring urgent and important communications are addressed promptly. Additionally, you will support weekly and month-end processes and maintain accurate financial records and filing systems. Your focus will be on building effective working relationships to support the delivery of timely financial services.

What you'll need to succeed
You'll bring a positive approach to the role and have p revious experience in accounts or finance support roles. You are confident working with numbers with an ability to spot errors. Being well-organised and able to manage deadlines and handle multiple responsibilities is essential in this role. As a clear and professional communicator, you will have familiarity with Microsoft Office products, including Excel and Teams and good basic accounting knowledge – understanding invoices, debits, credits, reconciliations, resolving account discrepancies etc. Ideally, a couple of years' experience in a similar role would be great, and if you have a working knowledge of financial management systems, that would be really helpful. You will be a proactive problem solver with the ability to suggest or implement process improvements.

What you'll get in return
Flexible working options are available along with an excellent benefits package, including generous holidays and pension arrangements and a deep commitment to learning and development for all colleagues. There is also free onsite parking.
