Your new role
This newly created role provides an exciting opportunity to influence the future direction of the Finance function. You will be responsible for driving strategic improvements, embedding best practice, and ensuring the department continues to deliver at the highest standard across the business. Your position will be central to maintaining a strong financial control environment, ensuring compliance with internal policies as well as IFRS and US GAAP requirements. A core part of the role will involve overseeing the production of accurate and timely financial reporting, supporting transparency and accountability throughout the organisation. You will also serve as the primary escalation point for finance-related queries, working closely with colleagues across the wider finance function to resolve issues efficiently and effectively. Collaboration with the FP&A team will be essential, as you work together to generate meaningful insights that inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement. In addition, you will take ownership of the statutory audit process, managing relationships with external auditors and tax advisors, while also consulting with the UK&I Head of Finance on complex US GAAP matters.
What you'll need to succeed
- ACA/ACCA qualified
- Strong technical accounting skills
- Solid knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Salary: £65,000
- Hybrid working (3 days in the office)
