Your new role

• Partnering with operational teams to drive profitability and manage cash flow
• Leading month‑end processes, producing management accounts, and delivering variance analysis
• Providing commercial insight and analysis to support strategic decisions
• Supporting bid teams with financial modelling and risk assessment for new opportunities
• Championing continuous improvement in reporting and financial processes
• Managing a small finance team, helping them develop and ensuring strong collaboration across the business

What you'll need to succeed

• Fully qualified accountant ACA, ACCA, CIMA
• Experience in contract accounting and exposure to the construction, infrastructure, or property sectors — though this is not essential.
• Strong commercial finance background with the ability to provide insight and challenge
• Excellent communication skills and confidence working with senior stakeholders
