Finance Manager job in Runcorn area
Hays Senior Finance are working with a long-standing client near Runcorn who are recruiting for a newly created Finance Manager role. This innovative manufacturing company works with leading businesses in various sectors to design and then manufacture cutting-edge products. Their continued success has seen them make strategic acquisitions in new countries, which has further grown their footprint and enabled sustainable growth.
As Finance Manager you will report to the Head of Finance dealing with all aspects of the Finance function through the provision of financial information and ensuring the integrity of financial data. Produce month-end management reports as required including preparation of supporting documentation.
Key skills include -
- Oversee production of timely management accounts
- Produce accounting reports with detailed analysis to support the strategic and operational decision-making process
- Maintain integrity of data by managing the application of controls such as balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis
- Budgeting & Forecasting
- Oversee the monthly stock count and verify stock count accuracy
- Business partner with other departmental managers to effectively assist in cost reduction initiatives, continuous improvement projects, and the control of overheads
- Support the Head of Finance with year-end and external audit
As Finance Manager you will be based from the head office near Runcorn. This is a modern facility with excellent transport links. There are flexible hours available around the core hours of 10 - 3pm, and they offer one day working from home.
