Join this growing Poole-based technology business as a Finance Manager

Your new company
You will be working for an established and growing tech-based business from their Poole head office, playing a crucial role within their tight-knit team. As a result of their growth, the business is seeking to enhance its accounting/finance function in a way that can best support them through their next exciting period of growth.


Your new role
They are looking to appoint an ambitious Finance Manager, who will be reporting to the CFO and able to work autonomously. The role requires a hands-on Finance Manager, with experience operating in an owner-manager/SME environment, to be responsible for day-to-day financial management for the business, overseeing a small finance/admin team.


As a Finance Manager, you will own the cash flow, budgeting and forecasting process, you will produce the management accounts, handle journal postings and intercompany accounts, and prepare financial accounts for audit compliance. You will oversee transactional processes and payroll, and ensure efficient month-end closures. Additionally, you will analyse KPIs, collaborate with the management teams for future forecasting, and lead technical accounting projects.


What you'll need to succeed
  • You will be a part-qualified (actively studying) or qualified accountant with a proactive and positive approach, with good problem-solving skills.
  • You could be working within industry already or be a first mover from practice.
  • You will have proven experience of month-end and year-end, with an understanding of audit processes.
  • You will be keen to be part of a growing business with current expansion plans.
  • You will have good IT skills, including Excel.
