Finance Manager (Systems & Data Management) – Global Organisation – Manchester – Up to £52,000 + Benefits

Hays are assisting a leading construction and property organisation in their search for a Systems and Finance Data Manager. This person will join the businesses Finance Shared Services Centre in Manchester on a permanent basis.
This is a pivotal leadership role focused on ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and governance of financial master-data, while driving continuous improvement across finance systems and processes. The successful candidate will lead a team of up to six and act as a key interface between Finance, IT, and other business units—ensuring systems and data align with operational needs and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee financial master data governance and system integrity
Lead and develop a team of data and systems specialists
Drive automation, standardisation, and data quality improvements
Collaborate cross-functionally to align systems with business requirements
Support finance transformation initiatives

Ideal Candidate Profile:

Proven experience in finance systems, master data governance, or finance transformation projects
Strong ERP knowledge
Collaborative leadership style with the ability to influence stakeholders
Proactive mindset and passion for continuous improvement

Package & Working Pattern:

Basic salary up to £52,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Comprehensive benefits package
Hybrid working: 2 days per week onsite in Manchester (Salford Quays)
