Location: Wirral – Free On-Site Parking

About the Company

With a collaborative and close-knit team culture, they’re now seeking a dedicated Finance Manager to take full ownership of day-to-day financial operations and play a key role in supporting the business as it grows.

About the Role

This is a hands-on, end-to-end finance role ideal for someone with a strong background in bookkeeping and management accounts. Reporting directly to the Finance Director, you’ll be responsible for all aspects of financial operations - from processing invoices to supporting month-end routines. This role does not include line management responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-End Financial Operations:
  • Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Process supplier invoices and manage payment runs.
  • Reconcile supplier statements and resolve queries
  • Chase outstanding payments and maintain debtor records
  • Submit payroll data to the outsourced payroll provider
  • Liaise with suppliers and assist with deliveries when required (occasional business support)
  • Financial Oversight & Reporting:
  • Support the Finance Director with month-end routines and financial close processes
  • Prepare and review financial data for internal reporting
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with internal controls
What We’re Looking For

  • AAT qualified or equivalent experience
  • Solid experience in bookkeeping, AP/AR, and management accounts
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
  • A proactive, flexible team player who’s happy to support wider business needs when required
