An exciting opportunity has arisen for an accomplished Financial Manager leading a bank based in the heart of Manchester City Centre. With a global presence and a solid reputation, they provide a wide range of financial and banking services and solutions for their clients. As part of their continuous growth, they are now looking for an accomplished Financial Controller to join their team of excellence in Manchester.

Your new role

• Develop and maintain financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure the integrity of financial information and compliance with relevant regulations.
• Development and documentation of business processes and accounting policies to strengthen internal controls.
• Lead a small team of people who are responsible for the process and finance systems related to fixed assets
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards IFRS09 policies regarding fixed assets
• Provide accurate and timely reporting of fixed asset information to stakeholders

What you'll need to succeed

With a strong technical accounting and asset finance background, you are a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/MBA/MSc/QBE). You have either worked in the Financial Services sector before or have experience in large and complex organisations. Some knowledge of IFRS 9.
