A fantastic opportunity is available in West Hull to lead a finance team. This is a hands-on role where your experience will be key in order to mentor your team as well as sit on the board and report to the Directors.

This is a role that will suit either an experienced Finance Director or a Financial Controller looking to make a step-up. You will ideally have manufacturing experience and be ACA/ACCA qualified.

Your responsibilities will include:

Strategic Leadership
Being an active part of the Senior Management team which sets the strategy for the company. You will manage all accounting activities, including the maintenance of the ledger accounts and production of financial statements and corporate reporting.

Financial Leadership
Provide financial leadership to the business, including group consolidating, forecasting, budgeting, and analysing variations from budget.

Operational Support
Oversee day-to-day operational control, including business data analysis, cost centre planning, workload, and capacity reporting.

Team Management
Lead and inspire the UK Finance Team whilst having responsibility for the site HR and payroll functions

Global Collaboration
Ensure the Company adheres to its corporate financial standards and practices, working closely with Corporate finance and management accounting departments
