Finance Coordinator – Greater Belfast – 6 months with possible Extension

Due to increased workflow within the finance function, an opportunity has arisen for a Finance Coordinator to join the team and play a key role in ensuring smooth financial operations.
Your new role
As Finance Coordinator, you will support the wider finance team across Accounts Payable, Credit Control, and Accounts Receivable. You will take responsibility for processing invoices, reconciling supplier statements, and handling day‑to‑day financial queries. The role also involves assisting with payment runs, supporting cash allocation, updating customer account information, and monitoring shared finance inboxes to ensure timely communication. You will help maintain accurate financial records and ensure that all transactions are processed efficiently and in line with internal procedures. This is a varied and hands‑on role where attention to detail and strong organisational skills are essential.
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable or a similar finance support role
- Knowledge of invoice processing, reconciliations, and payment tracking
- Strong numerical accuracy and excellent attention to detail
- Confident communication skills when dealing with suppliers, customers, and colleagues
- Good working knowledge of Excel and finance systems (training will be provided)
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment and meet deadlines
