Finance Clerk required for a business in Bradley Stoke for a 9 month fixed term contract

This Finance Assistant role plays a key role in ensuring financial operations are executed with accuracy and efficiency, supporting essential functions such as refunds, reconciliations, and expense processing.
- Process all refund requests promptly and in line with internal refund policies
- Perform assigned monthly bank reconciliations
- Escalate issues to the Team Leader as needed
- Collaborate across departments to ensure accurate bank postings to the correct cost or income accounts
- Review and process employee expenses in accordance with the company’s travel and expense policy
- Review and process company credit card expenses in line with policy guidelines
- Maintain thorough records to support audit requirements and assist with internal and external audits
- Prepare and secure appropriate approvals for all bank-related correspondence and instructions
- Reconcile banking deposits against the company’s cash management system, resolving or escalating discrepancies
- Support with additional finance-related tasks as required
