A rare opportunity to join this education provider in the position of Finance Business Partner at their site located near Thurrock, Essex.

Your new role

As Finance Business Partner you will play a pivotal role in collaborating with budget holders, providing insightful financial information and analysing and providing guidance around financial matters.

• Prepare monthly reports and financial insights for review meetings
• Meeting with budget holders to enable accurate forecasting and highlight and address variances
• Financial modelling and scenario analysis
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Assist in the annual budgeting process
• Support in analysing, reviewing and reconciling income and expenditure variances
• Process review and improvement
• Assist with adhoc project requirements

What you'll need to succeed

• Part-Qualified or AAT Qualified
• Strong systems and IT skills, including advanced Excel and the ability to analyse complex data
• Experience of working with budget holders and providing financial insights
• Management accounts experience
• Strong communication skills with the ability to build strong working relationships with both financial and non-financial colleagues
