Finance Business Partner – Lead costing, forecasting & reporting at a global business

Your new role
This new opportunity requires comprehensive oversight of financial planning, analysis, and operational costing. The successful candidate is expected to lead strategic forecasting, drive reporting accuracy, and ensure seamless financial integration across regional business functions — with a strong emphasis on team leadership, systems optimisation, and decision support. Responsibilities will include:

  • Lead Finance Team: Manage Costing and PFR team, aligning efforts with strategic goals.
  • Drive Planning Cycles: Oversee AOP and forecasting across key financial metrics.
  • Deliver Financial Insights: Provide variance analysis and actionable reporting to stakeholders.
  • Manage Costing Accuracy: Lead standard cost-setting and compliance activities.
  • Inventory Oversight: Conduct physical verification and ensure accurate valuation and reporting.
  • Ensure Reporting Quality: Maintain strong balance sheet reconciliations and support closing processes.
  • Tax & Forecast Integration: Align forecasts with tax and cash flow strategies.
  • Coach & Develop Team: Build capabilities and succession planning for finance personnel.

What you'll need to succeed
To thrive in this role, the candidate should be fully CIMA or ACCA qualified, and bring a mix of strategic acumen, technical expertise, and collaborative leadership across a dynamic financial landscape. Key requirements include:
