A successful Liverpool based Engineering and Construction business. This company is winning new contracts every month and is backed by a powerful group. This role is to partner a pivotal part of their business and will be highly influential in decision making.

Your new role

This is a true business partner role. You will work with big data, analytics, but also very much personal relations with operational teams.

You will provide accurate and timely financial information, analysis and insight to the senior leadership team.
Reporting on business area performance against kpi's and specifically on project spend and income versus budget.
Delivering analysis and insight on commercial opportunities, providing options and scenarios for business decisions.
Challenging ways of working and driving efficiencies.
Understanding cost-drivers and providing insight to non-finance managers.
Monthly project management accounting and weekly cash flow reporting.

What you'll need to succeed

You should be an experienced accountant, ideally fully qualified, with experience of business partnering and a strong analytical background.

You should have experience of using modern finance systems to extract MI and provide complex information in a simple to understand format.
You should have strong communication skills and the ability to challenge.
