Hays are delighted to be working in partnership with a key client of ours within the public sector in Inverness to support in the continued growth and development of their existing finance operations. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified finance professional to play a pivotal role in shaping financial decision making and advising budget holders on financial information.


Your new role

In your new role, you will working collaboratively with the wider finance team and business units to provide insightful financial analysis, supporting strategic planning, and driving performance improvement. You will be a trusted advisor, helping to ensure that resources are used effectively and efficiently across the organisation.


What you'll need to succeed

The ideal candidate will be a qualified, or qualified by experience, Accountant with proven experience in a finance business partnering or management accounting role. You will have strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships with non-finance stakeholders. Experience in previously working within a public sector body is desirable but not essential.
