Your new role
Reporting directly to the Financial Director and working closely with the board, you’ll be a crucial strategic Business Partner and lead financial operations for a key division, delivering high-impact insights that influence and shape strategic planning, navigate growth and drive performance.
The ability to proactively adapt, build strong networks, and translate complex financial data into clear, actionable strategies is vital for success.
This is a hands-on, strategic role where you’ll manage a team of finance professionals and ensure financial planning aligns with business objectives.

This is a hands-on, strategic role where you’ll manage a team of finance professionals and ensure financial planning aligns with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver accurate, timely, and insightful financial planning and reporting to support strategic decision-making.
- Translate group-wide financial strategy into actionable divisional plans.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cost control processes.
- Develop financial models and streamline reporting using advanced Excel techniques.
- Ensure compliance with financial governance and regulatory standards.
- Partner with operational leaders to identify risks, drive improvements, and optimise performance.
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end processes.
- Champion process automation and system upgrades to enhance efficiency.
- Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA)
- Proven experience in financial leadership roles, within medium to large organisations
- Strong commercial acumen
- Effective business partnering experience, excellent communication and influencing skills, financial analysis, and risk mitigation skills.
- IT Skills: Advanced Excel, financial modelling, AI/BI Tools and automation, experience of working with ERP systems such as, NetSuite/Oracle/SAP/Microsoft Dynamics
- Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- A strategic mindset with the ability to lead change and inspire high performance.
