With significant ongoing investment programmes and ambitious future plans, the business is seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner to join its high-performing finance team. This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with senior operational leaders, influencing strategic decision-making and driving financial performance across a large-scale capital investment portfolio.

Your new role

• Partnering with senior operational leaders to improve financial performance and support strategic objectives.
• Delivering high-quality forecasting, budgeting, month-end reporting, management accounts and financial analysis.
• Providing insight into capital investment programmes, identifying key risks and opportunities while supporting investment decisions.
• Producing accurate and timely financial reports for budget holders and key stakeholders.
• Analysing financial performance, investigating variances and conducting root cause analysis to support continuous improvement.
• Using data-driven analysis to identify trends, improve operational efficiency and enhance financial understanding across the business.
• Supporting governance and control processes while ensuring compliance with established financial procedures.
• Driving value-for-money initiatives and promoting commercially robust decision-making.
• Working on a range of finance projects and business improvement initiatives, including process optimisation and automation opportunities.
• Presenting financial information and recommendations to senior stakeholders and leadership teams.

What you'll need to succeed

• Fully qualified accountant status (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Significant post-qualification experience within a commercial finance, finance business partnering or management accounting environment.
• Strong experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial planning and performance reporting.
• Proven ability to influence business performance through insightful financial analysis and commentary.
• Experience working with senior stakeholders and non-financial managers.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong financial modelling capability.
