Finance Business Partner Job - 6 month FTC - Liverpool

Your new company
A first-class employer in the Liverpool region is recruiting a finance business partner for a six-month fixed-term contract. The job will be supporting an IT transformation programme and offers a flexible hybrid working arrangement.

Your new role
Working as the key finance contact liaison to the IT team, duties will include:

• Act as finance contact – embedded with the IT function
• Translate technology, cyber, data, and OT activity into board-level financial language
• Stabilise the financial baseline and technology operating system and prepare for FY27 onwards.
• Support Exec / Board papers with credible numbers, options, and trade-offs
• Challenge constructively, bring pace, build a stronger function.


What you'll need to succeed
• Proven interim Finance Business Partner experience
• Has supported IT / Transformation Director previously
• Background in complex, asset-heavy environments
• Comfortable working in imperfect data environments and creating clarity fast
• Used to operating at Exec-1 / ExCo level with confidence and credibility
