Finance Assistant - Knaresborough

Our client, a growing and dynamic business based in Knaresborough, is looking to appoint an enthusiastic Entry Level Finance Assistant to join their on‑site finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the start of their finance career who wants hands‑on experience across all core finance functions.

The role The successful candidate will become a key part of a small, supportive finance team and gain exposure to:

  • Processing accounts payable and supplier invoices
  • Completing bank reconciliations
  • Updating the Sage accounting system accurately
  • Making agreement payments to dealerships
  • Assisting with financial data analysis and compliance tasks
  • Working closely with sales and financial operations teams
  • Supporting process improvements and automation initiatives
The ideal candidate
  • Strong attention to detail and good numerical skills
  • Eager to learn and develop within a finance environment
  • Proactive, organised, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced setting
  • Enjoys being part of a collaborative team
