TEMPORARY FINANCE JOB IN GRIMSBY - 30K
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join a great and supportive team on a temporary basis, working within a group. This role reports directly to the Financial Controller and is based in Grimsby.
Key Responsibilities
- Support month-end processes, including journal preparation and reconciliations
- Prepare draft management accounts
- Maintain accurate financial records
- Perform bank reconciliations
- Compile weekly payment runs
- Prepare and submit VAT returns
- Manage accounts receivable
- Assist in the year-end process
- Carry out other ad hoc finance duties as required
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous experience in an accounts or finance role (essential)
- Studying towards AAT qualification, or qualified by experience
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with SAGE is preferable
This role will be 5 days on site.
