TEMPORARY FINANCE JOB IN GRIMSBY - 30K

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join a great and supportive team on a temporary basis, working within a group. This role reports directly to the Financial Controller and is based in Grimsby.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support month-end processes, including journal preparation and reconciliations
  • Prepare draft management accounts
  • Maintain accurate financial records
  • Perform bank reconciliations
  • Compile weekly payment runs
  • Prepare and submit VAT returns
  • Manage accounts receivable
  • Assist in the year-end process
  • Carry out other ad hoc finance duties as required
Skills & Experience Required

  • Previous experience in an accounts or finance role (essential)
  • Studying towards AAT qualification, or qualified by experience
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with SAGE is preferable

This role will be 5 days on site.
