Finance Assistant | Fixed term contract from 9–12 months | 27k

Hays have partnered with a Financial Services company based in Blackburn looking for some extra support within a busy period in their sector. They are looking to add a Finance assistant to the team on a contract basis of 9–12 months. This role will be full-time in the office with full flexibility on start and finish times with working hours from 9am-5pm.
Your new role
A Finance Assistant in a financial services business plays a vital role in supporting the organisation's financial operations. This position involves maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and developing budgets. Processing 100+ invoices weekly, you will be tracking spending, monitoring income, and reconciling accounts to ensure everything is in order. Assisting customers or clients with questions about their accounts or billing statements is also part of the job, providing excellent customer service
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed within this role, you will need similar experience within a role previously, AAT qualified or have a degree in Accountancy & Finance. Excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn. Excel skills are also desirable - Pivot tables, V-Lookups & basic formulas.
What you'll get in return
