Finance Assistant – Belfast – on-site parking - immediate start

Your new role

Reporting to the Financial Controller, You will be a proactive and organised individual, who thrives as part of a fast-paced environment and who is a keen team player.
You will be a problem solver, have a good attention to detail, be able to manage multiple tasks efficiently and be comfortable handling invoices and customer queries with confidence and professionalism.

You will have responsibility for the following:
  • Raise purchase orders and ensure procurement rules are adhered to
  • Process and pay supplier invoices on a weekly / monthly basis.
  • Process all customer invoicing
  • Daily posting of bank receipts / payments
  • Assist employees with procurement queries
  • Reconcile bank accounts on a monthly basis
  • Work as part of a team to improve finance processes and efficiencies
  • Appropriately file electronic documents
  • Respond to queries from customers and suppliers
Provide general administrative and financial support when required

What you'll need to succeed

  • At least two years work experience in a similar role
  • Experience of Sage 50
  • Effective MS Excel skills – including basic formulas
  • Be proficient with MS Office
  • Ability to clearly and confidently communicate in a professional manner
  • Be a good collaborator and work well as part of a team.
  • Be willing to adapt and to learn new skills
