Part-Time Finance Assistant – 21 hours per week - Leeds.

Location: Leeds Hours: 21 hours per week (ideally Monday–Thursday, flexible within 08:30–17:00) Contract: Temporary, until the end of January

The Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Assistant to support our finance operations on a part-time basis. You will play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial transactions and internal approvals.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Processing travel and subsistence claims, fees, and authority for payment forms
  • Reconciling travel advances
  • Reviewing Purchase Card receipts and transactions
  • Goods receipting
  • Preparing and processing journals
  • Calculating and processing internal recharges
  • Approving purchases via the internal system
What We Are Looking For
We’re looking for someone who is:
  • Organised and methodical in their approach to financial tasks
  • Confident using internal finance systems and tools
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Comfortable managing multiple tasks with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Previous experience in a finance administrative role is desirable.
