Your new role

• Completing month‑end tasks, recharging costs, resolving queries, and working with central cost centres
• Ensuring accurate accounting and collaborating with AP and Credit Control for timely ledger closure.
• Preparing month‑end variance reports
• Owning and reconciling key balance sheet accounts
• Identifying and driving process improvements
• Supporting quarterly and annual budgeting, plus monthly forecasting
• Preparing VAT returns and assisting with corporation tax and other tax matters

What you'll need to succeed

• Thinks analytically and can break down problems logically
• Degree in Finance
• AAT, CIMA or ACCA (Qualified or Part Qualified)
• Previous experience in an accounts or finance team
• Strong balance sheet reconciliation skills
• Ability to analyse large data sets and produce clear information for management
• Excellent Excel skills – Pivot Tables
• High attention to detail
• Positive, proactive attitude and strong teamwork skills
• Experience of COINS would be highly beneficial but not essential.
