Job Opportunity: Temporary School Finance Administrator

Location: Kirklees, WF postcode
Contract Type: Temporary
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM, Term Time Only
Pay: £13.50 – £16.00 per hour (depending on experience)

Are you an organised, detail-oriented individual with a passion for numbers and a knack for keeping things running smoothly? We’re looking for a dedicated Finance Administrator for a school in Kirklees.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day financial operations including invoicing, purchase orders, and budget tracking
  • Process payroll and staff expenses in line with school policies
  • Liaise with suppliers, staff, and external agencies regarding financial matters
  • Maintain accurate financial records and assist with audits
  • Support the wider administrative team as needed
✅ What We’re Looking For:
  • Previous experience in finance administration (preferably in an educational setting)
  • Strong IT skills, especially in Excel and financial software
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A proactive and professional approach
