Facilities Category Manager - London

Facilities Category Manager
£65,000 - £80,000 + discretionary bonus
London City (3 days per week)

Your new company
You’ll be joining a global professional services organisation that is growing rapidly and strengthening its procurement capability as part of a wider commercial transformation. The business operates through a centre‑led model where procurement plays a central and respected role in enabling operational excellence, managing risk, and supporting strategic decision‑making.
The team itself is small, collaborative, and highly engaged, with a culture that values openness, doing the right thing, and working together to deliver the best outcomes. With ambitions to scale significantly over the coming years, this is a place where your ideas are listened to and your contribution will be visible.

Your new role
As the Facilities Category Manager, you will take the lead on shaping and delivering the Facilities and Property category strategy across the UK and selected international locations. You’ll be responsible for a sizeable annual spend and will work closely with senior stakeholders across property, facilities, sustainability and operations.
Day‑to‑day, you will oversee major sourcing activity, manage high‑value negotiations, support contract renewals, and guide supplier relationship management. You will have a strong voice in how the organisation engages with its supplier base, including opportunities to drive consolidation, embed ESG considerations, and identify commercial efficiencies across the estate.

What you’ll need to succeed
To thrive in this role, you’ll need a strong background in procurement with meaningful experience in managing Facilities Management or Property categories. You’ll be comfortable engaging senior leaders, navigating complex environments, and presenting clear, commercially driven recommendations.
Success here requires someone proactive, structured, and confident operating with a high degree of autonomy. Strong commercial acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build trusted relationships will be essential. Experience working in regulated or highly governed procurement settings would be valuable, and professional qualifications such as MCIPS are welcomed but not essential.
This is a role suited to someone who enjoys influencing strategy, bringing structure to a broad category landscape, and contributing to the ongoing maturation of a well‑regarded procurement function.

What you’ll get in return
You’ll receive a competitive salary of up to £80k and required to be in the office 3 days a week, alongside the opportunity to join a highly collaborative and supportive team where you can shape category strategy, build strong relationships across the business, and take on increasing levels of ownership.
The environment is friendly, engaging, and genuinely enjoyable to be part of — a place where people feel valued and stay long‑term because of the culture, the autonomy offered, and the ability to make a real impact.
