Your new role


In this role, you’ll be responsible for creating a welcoming and professional office environment by greeting visitors, managing posts, and maintaining a tidy reception area. You’ll oversee facilities and cleaning issues, ensure timely resolution, and manage the inventory of office supplies. You’ll support HR administration, assist with reports and audits, and help organise office events. As a key contributor to the NSM Charity & Events Committee, you’ll also assist with delegated project tasks. Your role will include supporting Health, Safety, and Facilities administration across sites, coordinating risk assessments, ordering supplies, and ensuring required notices are displayed. You’ll monitor the number of First Aiders, Mental Health First Aiders, and Fire Marshalls, escalating the training needs of the Learning and Development Manager, and report monthly to the Chief People Officer on compliance and any shortfalls.


What you'll need to succeed


Looking for someone with proven experience in office administration, who is highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently. The ideal candidate will be confident in using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and possess excellent communication skills with a genuine interest in people. Experience in facilities coordination and Health & Safety is desirable but not essential, as training can be provided.
