Operating across multiple UK sites, the business is known for its skilled engineering teams and commitment to continuous improvement. As part of its growth, they are now seeking a multi-skilled Fabric Engineer to join their London-based team.

Your new role
This Fabric Engineer role is focused on maintaining the physical integrity and appearance of buildings. You’ll carry out a range of general maintenance tasks, ensuring high standards of workmanship and compliance with health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
  • General building fabric maintenance: walls, ceilings, doors, windows, flooring
  • Basic carpentry, plastering, painting, and tiling
  • Minor plumbing and electrical fixes (non-certified tasks)
  • Preventive and reactive maintenance
  • Ensuring compliance with health & safety and building standards
What you'll need to succeed
Typical Qualifications
  • City & Guilds Level 2 or 3 in:
    • Building Maintenance
    • Carpentry & Joinery
    • Painting & Decorating
    • Multi-Skilled Operations
  • May also hold NVQ or have completed a multi-trade apprenticeship
Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience in building fabric maintenance within facilities management
  • Strong practical skills across multiple trades
  • Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Awareness of health & safety and compliance standards
