Full-time EYFS Teaching Assistant role in Prenton, Wirral starting ASAP, supporting Early Years pupils

Job Title: EYFS Teaching Assistant
Location: Prenton, Wirral
Pay: £90–£105 per day
Working pattern: Full-Time, Term-Time
Contract: Starting ASAP

Your new role
As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will provide full-time support within the school’s Early Years classroom. Working closely with the class teacher, your duties will include assisting with daily routines, preparing learning activities, supporting small groups and individual pupils, and providing general classroom assistance. You may also be asked to provide 1:1 support when needed. You’ll play a key role in creating a nurturing, engaging environment where children can thrive academically and socially.

What you'll need to succeed
To excel in this role, you should have experience working with primary-aged children, ideally within an EYFS setting. You’ll bring a patient and caring approach, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively under the guidance of the class teacher. Flexibility, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for supporting early learners will be essential.
