EYFS Teacher position in Wolverhampton, starting in January

Are you a passionate and experienced EYFS Teacher looking for a rewarding opportunity in a nurturing and inclusive primary school setting?

Hays Education is working in partnership with a well-regarded primary school in Wolverhampton to recruit a dedicated EYFS Teacher to join their Early Years team from January 2026. This full-time role is to cover maternity leave until the end of the academic year in July 2026.

This welcoming and inclusive primary school is known for its strong community ethos and commitment to providing a safe, stimulating environment where every child is encouraged to thrive. The Early Years team is well-established, and the school places a strong emphasis on child-centred learning, creativity, and outdoor play. Staff are supported by a proactive leadership team and benefit from ongoing professional development opportunities.

You will be joining a vibrant and supportive Early Years Foundation Stage team, delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to nursery-aged children. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and be confident in planning and delivering engaging lessons that support children’s development across all areas of learning.


What you'll need to succeed

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Proven experience working in a nursery or EYFS setting
  • Excellent knowledge of the EYFS framework and child development
  • A nurturing and enthusiastic approach to teaching
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their early learning journey
