Hays Education are proud to be working with a welcoming and highly regarded early years setting in the Wolverhampton area to recruit a passionate and experienced Early Years Teacher for a full-time role starting in September.

This nurturing and child-centred setting places children's curiosity, creativity, and independence at the heart of learning. The successful candidate will join a dedicated team committed to providing a stimulating and supportive environment where every child can thrive and develop a lifelong love of learning.

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Early Years Teacher who is confident about delivering a play-based curriculum and understands the importance of learning through exploration, discovery, and purposeful play.

You will be responsible for:

Leading a class of Early Years children on a full-time basis
Delivering engaging, child-led learning experiences aligned with the EYFS Framework
Completing weekly planning tailored to the needs and interests of the children
Monitoring progress and supporting children's individual development
Creating a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
Working collaboratively with teaching assistants, leaders, and families
Contributing positively to the wider life of the setting
Dedicated PPA time will be provided to support planning and preparation.

To be successful, you will have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
Recent experience teaching within an early year setting
A strong understanding of the EYFS Framework
Experience delivering a play-based curriculum
Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
A nurturing, enthusiastic, and child-centred approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
