Hays Education are proud to be working with a welcoming and highly regarded early years setting in the Wolverhampton area to recruit a passionate and experienced Early Years Teacher for a full-time role starting in September.
This nurturing and child-centred setting places children's curiosity, creativity, and independence at the heart of learning. The successful candidate will join a dedicated team committed to providing a stimulating and supportive environment where every child can thrive and develop a lifelong love of learning.
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Early Years Teacher who is confident about delivering a play-based curriculum and understands the importance of learning through exploration, discovery, and purposeful play.
You will be responsible for:
- Leading a class of Early Years children on a full-time basis
- Delivering engaging, child-led learning experiences aligned with the EYFS Framework
- Completing weekly planning tailored to the needs and interests of the children
- Monitoring progress and supporting children's individual development
- Creating a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
- Working collaboratively with teaching assistants, leaders, and families
- Contributing positively to the wider life of the setting
- Dedicated PPA time will be provided to support planning and preparation.
To be successful, you will have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
- Recent experience teaching within an early year setting
- A strong understanding of the EYFS Framework
- Experience delivering a play-based curriculum
- Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
- A nurturing, enthusiastic, and child-centred approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
