EYFS Supply Teacher RUGBY - Flexible working

We are seeking dedicated EYFS supply teachers who can cover Rugby and the surrounding villages who prioritise children’s learning, development, and overall wellbeing. With day-to-day supply and indeed longer-term roles, schools do prefer EYFS specialist teachers to cover as the framework and strategies tend to be different, as well as the room used and the structure of their day.

As a supply teacher, you will manage the classroom and teach in the absence of the original teacher. You may be required to plan lessons, for which additional payment will be provided. Any issues, including safeguarding concerns, must be reported to the teacher or the on-duty DSL.

Your new role
The flexibility of supply teaching makes it suitable for individuals balancing other commitments. Key responsibilities include:
  • Covering sickness, paternity, and maternity leave
  • Managing classroom dynamics
  • Delivering engaging lessons
  • Maintaining continuity in children's learning
  • Marking books per school policy
  • Providing constructive feedback
  • Ensuring adherence to behavioural policies
This role offers an excellent opportunity to positively impact children’s education while enjoying the flexibility of supply teaching.

What you'll need to succeed
  • An outstanding EYFS practitioner
  • Skilled at engaging and enthusing pupils in their learning
  • Knowledgeable about assessment, feedback, and differentiation
  • Recent teaching experience within the last five years
  • Hold a QTS, PGCE, or ECT qualification
What you'll get in return
  • Flexible working options are available.
  • In return for working as a Supply Teacher in Rugby through Hays, you will have one point of contact with one of our dedicated consultants.
  • You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of schools, allowing you to explore your options.
  • You will also gain a competitive rate of pay.
  • If this role does not interest you, but you know someone who would refer them to us and receive £250 in vouchers when they complete 20 days of supply.
