EYFS SEN TA

Your new school

We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity to join a warm and nurturing school where their youngest learners are at the heart of everything they do. They are currently seeking EYFS SEN Teaching Assistants on a full-time basis to support children within our friendly and supportive Early Years team. Your contribution will play a vital role in helping pupils achieve positive developmental and learning outcomes.

Your new role

As an EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant, you will make a genuine and meaningful difference to young children with a range of additional needs, including SEMH, ADHD, communication and interaction needs, and early developmental delays. Every day will bring variety, creativity, and the chance to help children thrive through play based learning.

You will support children in building social, communication, emotional regulation and early independence skills, modelling positive behaviour and maintaining the highest standards of care, professionalism, and safeguarding.

What you'll need to succeed

We are looking for caring and motivated individuals who are passionate about Early Years education and supporting children with additional needs. You will enjoy working in a fast-paced but rewarding environment and be committed to nurturing our learners through curiosity, play and exploration. Previous experience with autism or SEND is beneficial but not essential — a willingness to learn and grow in the role is what matters most.

Desirable Skills and Qualifications

  • GCSE/O‑Level or equivalent
  • Experience working with young children, particularly those with SEMH or SEND (desirable)
  • A valid driving licence due to the school’s location
