• Supporting children in their early development stages, including personal, social, emotional, and educational growth
• Assisting the class teacher with planning and delivering engaging EYFS curriculum activities
• Creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment
• Supporting children with phonics, early literacy, and numeracy skills
• Observing and recording children’s progress and reporting to the class teacher
• Promoting positive behaviour and managing classroom routines effectively
• Carrying out personal care
• Assist with feeding at meal times
• Setting up and tidying away resources and learning areas
• Communicating effectively with parents, carers, and other staff members

What you'll need to succeed

• EYFS qualification (Level 2 or 3 in Childcare or equivalent)
• Experience in an EYFS setting – whether in schools, nurseries, or other early years environments
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
• Availability 5 days a week
