EYFS Qualified Teaching Assistant St Helens
A school we are working with is seeking a dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their nurturing Early Years team on a long term temporary basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a child-centred environment and is committed to helping children achieve their full potential during these crucial years.
The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher and other staff to support the learning and development of children in the Early Years Foundation Stage. You will be responsible for assisting with classroom activities, preparing learning materials, supporting individual pupils and small groups, assisting with personal care (nappy changing) and helping to create a safe, stimulating and engaging learning environment. Your role will also involve contributing to observations and assessments, promoting positive behaviour, and encouraging children’s social and emotional growth.
We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, patient and proactive, with a genuine interest in early childhood education. Ideally, you will have previous experience working within an EYFS setting and hold a relevant Level 2 or Level 3 qualification. Strong communication skills, a caring nature, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team are essential.
If you are ready to make a meaningful impact in the lives of young learners and be part of a dedicated team, we would love to hear from you.
